Credit Recovery Program
horizontal line

When a student takes a class without passing, the thought of retaking the entire class again can be daunting -- especially since the student probably did master some of the learning goals! Credit Recovery offers another option.

How Does Credit Recovery Work?

Classes are divided into lesson modules, and each module has a pre-test. A student who scores 80% or higher can skip the lesson because he or she has demonstrated mastery. When scoring less than 80%, the student is given a lesson and practice activities, and then the opportunity to retest.

Available Courses

Most core classes have credit recovery options. Visit the High School program page and click on the Course Catalog link to view current credit recovery courses.
